Title: Nucleus, or the Universe in Grandpa's Garage
Length: 14"
Width: 8.25"
Height: 13"
Description: This fountain was handmade of copper, brass, and
slate and it sits in a hand-constructed copper basin. Water trickles from small holes in the uppermost pipe, flows down over the hanging rock and continues downward until it reaches the rocks in the basin. The artist used copper found in his grandfather's incomparable
garage in the construction of this fountain. If you needed anything, anything at all, just ask Grandpa and the reply would be, "Yeah, I think I've got one
out in the garage." This is a unique and highly personal artwork - there will never be another one like it. In that,
it is much like the artist's beloved grandfather.
